As your newly-elected mayor, I am pleased to announce that our dynamic town is undergoing exciting changes, as we embark on a noble mission to become a full-fledged city by the year 2020. We are now carefully laying the foundations of our quest to become the Education and Commercial Center of the Western Pangasinan--for example, the University of the Philippines Open University (www.upou.edu.ph) has now established a Testing Center in Bani, making our municipality the first-ever Local Government Unit to get U.P. accreditation. Similarly-themed projects are likewise on the way, to support our over-all goal of providing our constituents with access to affordable quality education.
